The list with the best gifts for flight attendants will probably have fantastic things from all over the world. Eeehmmm, not quite, but I get your point. What do you buy for someone who frequently travels the world?
I’ve got you. Speaking from my own personal experience and seeing what colleagues use, I created this gift guide. Check out the list with the best gifts for flight attendants.

Packing cubes are a must-have for frequent travellers, and I swear by them. They keep my suitcase organised, whether it’s for work or personal travel. They help to pack efficiently, especially with limited space or when travelling with hand luggage. This set comes in many lovely colours, and it also has two transparent bags for liquids.
This toiletry bag is ideal for keeping all bathroom items together. You can easily open the bag and hang it on a towel hook. I use mine every time I’m travelling, and you’ll be surprised how much can fit into this little bag.
This might seem like a rather strange gift for a flight attendant, but hold on. We use a hot water bottle to keep us warm during our sleep break in the crew rest. The crew rest is usually hidden in the plane’s ceiling, and it can be quite cold. Instead of making a hot water bottle with empty water bottles, he or she will have this cute, fluffy one instead.
This palette is my favourite when I want to bring just one palette on my travel. It’s the right size, has the exact amount of different colours to create plenty of eye looks and the colours go well on anyone. The eye shadows are pigmented, blendable, and not too soft, which means no broken pans.
A personal favourite I had to add to the list and one that is on the high-end side. Flight attendants need a watch when working, to track flight time or keep track of our service schedule. Besides all the great features an Apple Watch offers, the tiny detail I like, is that you don’t have to adjust the time anymore when on a layover. I really like this wrist band and the colour, it looks classy despite being a smartwatch.
This liquid lipstick set is a collaboration with well-known beauty YouTuber Manny Mua. It’s another gift that belongs on the list with the best gifts for flight attendants. These three nude colours are long-lasting, smudge-proof and feel comfortable on the lips.
It’s always good to use less plastic and paper cups on board. We have got help with the environment where we can. But nothing beats sipping coffee or tea from your own mug. This thermos mug keeps coffee or tea hot during a long night flight. It comes in all different colours, but this dark blue one is definitely my favourite.
This gift is for the creative flight attendant who likes to keep a journal for their travel memories. Flying the world with different colleagues, meeting other people and exploring cool places is the best thing in the world. Even when travelling is our everyday life, writing or logging everything in a good old fashioned journal is an excellent way to keep memories alive.
The Mr. Bunny Travel Kit from Sigma Beauty has all the essential brushes to create a flawless face, and it also comes in a handy travel box. It includes face brushes as well as eye brushes. Sigma Beauty is well known for its quality makeup brushes. I love the Sigma brushes I own, and they are still in great shape. These brushes are a great gift together with the “Tartelette In Bloom” palette.
As flight attendants, we have a lot of time to kill between the meal services, especially during night flights. Readly is a monthly subscription where unlimited magazines can be downloaded on your iPhone or iPad and read offline. An excellent gift for a flight attendant, guaranteed! Sometimes it’s just easier to scroll to a magazine than a book to stay awake. Use this link to get two months for only $0.99 and afterwards, you can get a subscription for only $9.99 per month.
This travel kit comes with all the essential bestsellers you need from The Balm in a mini travel size. The kit has mascara, bronzer, blush, highlighter and primer. The included Mary Lou Manizer highlighter is a bestseller of The Balm! All these products are of good quality, and it comes in this handy little transparent pouch. If you use the code ‘sarahshireen’ you’ll get a discount on your order!
Ruby Woo from Mac Cosmetics is an iconic red lipstick that suits everybody. This duo set comes with the matching Ruby Woo lipliner. The Mac lipsticks work the best when using their Mac Cosmetics Lip Prep and Prime underneath. This trio together will create the perfect red pout for every flight attendant.
Stila is another brand that has amazing liquid lipsticks that are long-lasting. Most importantly, they don’t leave the lips dry and uncomfortable. This set is an excellent trio of three nude liquid lipsticks for everyone who prefers a softer and nude lip.
Nothing beats getting jewellery as a gift. Most airlines have restrictions when it comes to jewellery when wearing our uniform. These pearl earrings from Swarovski will go with all uniform regulations. But most importantly, they are beautiful and classic on anybody.
Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream is another iconic product in the beauty world. I use it for dry lips, cracked elbows or a dry nose from sleeping in the crew rest. I know many colleague flight attendants swear by this cream. This set comes with a separate lip protectant for healthy-looking and moisturised lips.
This gift doesn’t need an explanation to make it into ‘the best gifts for flight attendants’ list. I refused an e-reader for a long time, but I have to admit. It’s so much easier to add ten books to an e-reader than carrying around ten books. A Kindle is great for break time during the flight or when insomnia hits on a layover.
Mini Mist Collection is a great way to try out all different sprays from Mario Badescu. Facial sprays are great to use on the plane to hydrate the face, refresh makeup, or add moisture to the skin. This set is also hand luggage proof, every bottle is below the allowed 100ml. The aloe vera facial spray is my favourite, and it smells fantastic.
I hope this best gifts for a flight attendant list sparked some ideas on what to buy for a flight attendant or at least inspired where to look. It’s always nice to get jewellery, but these gifts show that you’ve put some thought into it. What do you think about this gift guide for flight attendants?
